Youth Ambassador Program

TeamCindy™ is committed to empowering the next generation of advocates. Our Youth Ambassador Program provides high school and college students with the opportunity to take a leadership role in raising awareness, promoting prevention, and driving advocacy around brain aneurysms.
Brain aneurysms often impact people under 50, yet awareness campaigns have traditionally overlooked younger voices. Youth Ambassadors help bridge that gap — bringing fresh energy, creativity, and urgency to the conversation.
Even while TeamCindy’s fundraising events are paused for restructuring, Youth Ambassadors can make an immediate impact through advocacy, education, and online engagement. This is your chance to join a national movement and build skills that will benefit you far beyond this program.
Youth Ambassadors are asked to:
- Devote at least two hours per week to TeamCindy initiatives
- Have a genuine desire to raise awareness about brain aneurysms
- Complete a yearly Keystone Project aligned with TeamCindy’s mission
- Stay open to learning about brain aneurysms and sharing that knowledge with others
- Participate in advocacy at the national, state, and local levels
- Take part in TeamCindy events and initiatives (virtual or in-person, as available)
By joining, you’ll gain:
- Networking opportunities with peers, survivors, and medical professionals
- Exposure to key policymakers and advocacy leaders on local and national levels
- The ability to share life-saving information with your community
- Recognition and awards for commitment and service
- Development of leadership, public speaking, and critical thinking skills that stand out on college and job applications
Through this program, Youth Ambassadors will:
- Bring brain aneurysm awareness into everyday conversation
- Develop new avenues for fundraising and government support
- Expand TeamCindy’s online presence among youth audiences
- Build momentum for greater youth participation in TeamCindy’s mission and future events
